Solo East Coast Burgin

Postby Forsythia » Tue Jan 31, 2012 4:32 pm

Hello, all! In a show of radical self-reliance, I've read the instructions and am posting this intro all by myself. After many years and much planning, I'll finally be making the voyage to BRC for my virgin burn. I'm coming by myself; I don't believe in trying to "convince" anyone that they just have to experience Burning Man so I'm joyfully coming solo and look forward to participating.

I'm an artist and writer and enjoy music, yoga, working out, and almost anything outdoors. I'm sarcastic and appreciate others who are, too . . . and apparently I love sounding like a personal ad. Well since that's the tone I have going, perhaps I should add that I'm a Gemini sun, Virgo moon, Virgo rising. :)

Also, I've been lurking on eplaya for a long time so I want to thank all of you who have been participating and posting here: it's been greatly helpful on top of the survival (and other) guides for a first-timer trying to plan and prepare. Can't wait to get dusty with you!

Till we meet on the playa . . .

Another Gemini sun and Virgo moon right here! And it shows.

Great attitude re: not trying to sell anyone else on the experience. Wise!

Welcome.

Hi and welcome to ePlaya! No need to convince anybody, there are plenty of east coast burners out there, whom you'll hopefully meet and connect with not only on the playa, but along the way. Cheers!

Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.

Welcome.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.
