Yeah it's a very good inhibitor. I wonder if anyone actually witnessed a vehicle with a stowaway being turned away.

Strangely there were exactly 3.5 stowaways. One of them really made some mistakes or it might have been a full 4.

I'm curious as to why they don't release the number of stowaways that are turned away. Don't you think if it were a somewhat big number that it would further deter people from trying? Or do the number of people they actually catch fall short compared to the people who are sneaky enough to get in?

Hmmm, not bad. I guess we could get a whole group together, for that one. What's a lottery with a single ball? We'll need at least 30 or 40 of us.

My other idea: Apparently, you're not allowed to parachute into the event free anymore. But you can still fly over the playa in a plane - they can't stop that. Just get the pilot to pass by an open area of the deep playa at a fairly low (say 200 feet) altitude. Grab your stuff, text your mama one last time, and give 'er. I figure I'd have about a 1 in 5 chance of surviving the fall. Since that's a lot better than the odds of getting a ticket in the new lottery system, it's totally worth it!

If I die, I will have died at Burning Man. Not to mention the artistic value in the impromptu performance art!

Hmmmm. That adds a whole other element to my plan, thank you. On one hand, if you have good aim, the initial impact will be negated. On the other, depending on trajectory, you could end up back in the plane's propellers or engines. More research is needed.

who needs a vehicle. everyone I know that has ever snuk in has down so via biclycle. you know, ride up with a crew and then get got dropped off the main road along the playa way past the event and simply biked in a couple of miles to the trash fence and hopped over....

I was looking for them this year. Biked up to the road outside of the romper shroom, announced to my ladyfriend, "Well if ANYTHING is going to be camp Romper Shroom... it's going to be THAT thing!" Looked around and then announced, "WHELP, NO WAY OF KNOWING WHERE THEY'RE ACTUALLY AT!" and then rode away, only to see this picture on their Facebook when I got home.

good idea!! I think we should discuss times and locations here, for charging the fence.
maybe rideshare info, as to who can take a bike or more, and drop them off? meeting spots and stuff......

But, we gotta be careful of doing it in the dark, those pesky ropes, and steel fence posts are so hard on the neck and chest areas.

I am to be in U.S. a month before your Burning Man this year, so am have plenty of time for to plan.
