How to solve your ticket problem

Post by A Jester » Wed Feb 01, 2012 10:26 pm

Take the sentence:
I didn't get tickets.
and change it to
I haven't gotten tickets, yet.

Another way to solve your ticket problem is not go to the event.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Not exactly what I had in mind, but definitely accurate.

Or, join your local fire conclave and practice practice practice!
Or apply for an art grant for your awesome project.

Ahh, yes. Hope springs eternal. And those whose desperation causes them to become involved in STEP are only making a bad ticketing situation worse. IMHO of course.

Hey the lottery was a success only for BMORG, as they sold out! I have nothing against birgins, but I'm curious how the event will be changed when not enough people in the larger camps, get tickets and either scale back or eliminate their participation all together. (Not curious enough to go and find out, as not doing anything to perpetuate this ticketing fiasco has become one of MY personal "10 principles". See you in 2013--assuming they restore sanity to the ticketing process.)

Kudos.

There are other things going on out there.
