I like the goggles, TG! I hope they fit you well - that padding looks comfy.

Well if they work half as good as my Halcyon's you'll be in good hands! Those things have served me well. They are barely visible in my avatar pic, but they accessorize fantastically. :D

Ten gallons of elastomeric white roof paint for my horsey trailer roof-top and the interior.

Anyone interested in a painting party? :P

Tamarakay - You look absolutely FABULOUS in that picture!!
I almost bought a very similar corset dress last year...I was being cheap though and regret not just going for it.

Ellorum Hi!!! *waving like crazy*
Haven't gotten the pleasure to run into you in here for some time. That chandelier sounds like lovely and intricate piece of art. :)

Fufa & tattoogoddess those goggles are awesome accesories

Now back to our regularly scheduled topic...not so much a tangible item but while driving the other day I guess I had taken a creative pill that morning or something and I came up with a design for a super comfy and versatile dress that combines 2 patterns I've been researching for defaultia world. SO.EXCITED (if it works the way it is in my head)

Productive weekend. A Bead store in town was closing. I'm not really a jewelry wearer, though I admire it, I feel like I can't pull off big bold jewelry. So I bought a bunch of stuff to experiment with:

Also, made my first official theme crochet item:

In deference to the 2.0 and that random shit about a petri dish, I also bough the pattern for this bacteria and will be working on that next week: Image

I was planning on bringing mine which has honestly never touched an illicit substance. And I know there have been hookah lounges in the past, so they can't be too bad.

And now I'm having bio flashbacks. Amazing how no matter what you ask for, there is a burner who is an expert. Thanks. In defence of the artist who created the pattern, she does list it correctly as a bacteriophage. I screwed it up.

I think I'll try and do a whole series of microbes.

Ok yeah was giving some thought to bringing mine with. Like you mine has never had anything but the sticky smoke stuff (what ever it is called) in it. I found a site where I could buy them for $1 for like a altoid tin size. They are really good!

It's okay, I'm a genetics student. I've been playing around with lambda phage for the past month. :P

It's an honest mistake, they're called bacteriophage because they're phage that can only infect bacteria. Stuff like E. coli and what not. Don't worry guys, the viruses that infect us don't look like this!

(they're scarier...)

Here's a cuter version, for the crochet crowd:

Ooooooh!

The "GIANTmicrobes" bacteria/viruses/pathogens etc are my favourites.

Rhinovirus (common cold):

Chlamydia:

T4 bacteriophage:

Make sure you put eyes on your bacteriophage Vulturechow!

I gave my husband the common cold virus one year for christmas. Didn't go over well. I never did figure out how to buy presents for him. Or he for me.
I loved that man.

Today I hit up Goodwill and scored a folding camp chair and an awesome circus ringmaster-looking blazer (kinda hard to describe...) :D

Also, like Lucky I put a big chunk of cash into savings to use towards the ticket I am going to get eventually :)
