The US Constitution guarantees us "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness". Only the pursuit.

Whereas

The California Constitution says instead: " pursuing and obtaining safety and happiness."

For now.

Circuit 9 decision due tomorrow. Could decide the party doesn't have standing, case tossed, Prop 8 tossed. Could decide the party does have standing but the case is still crap, Prop 8 tossed but decision stayed while it gets appealed to the Supremes; or some variation thereof. I seriously doubt they rule in favor of Prop 8 after reading the original decision, but if they do expect an appeal there as well.

Sorry, please return to your regularly schedule thread about how great that state just outside the border of SF is.

Hell, I'll be going from BM, to Sacramento for 24 hours then the joy of LAX for a few hours then a damn long flight home -

I suspect Sacramento will be the highlight of my post burn 72 hours.....

Methinks you know enough people in Sac to have a good time for a day. Even in Sac.

I just saw some list, Sac was #5/10 of most horrible places to live. I'm from the right coast though, so I can't confirm that
