I saw a post on facebook/burning man that was supposedly from Maid Marian. I didn't realize it was that easy to spoof a username on the blog.

(It was a comment on a blog post that was supposedly from Marian Goodell. Nevermind)

Anyone can fake a blog post response, wait until it shows up as a legitimate post before believing it.

First of all... Thanks for saying sorry. Forgiveness is a given... try try again I say. It appears that the try again will happen in 2013, though.

Our goal is to stamp out scalping and mandate STEP for all resales.

It seems to me that it would be easier just to make tickets non-transferrable than to "find" scalpers but let's see what others say.

This was a comment on her own blog post. Would it not make sense for her to edit her blog post?? The name on the comment is different than the blog owners name. Something that important would not be down 60+ comments from the top.

Since there is not the same information on the ticket page or anywhere else, I am inclined to say "fake"...

Andie Grace chimed in and said it was fake. I do believe it was "The Andie Grace." A few posts later someone else took responsibility for the fakie.

I did notice that Marian (or someone) updated the original blog post to include an apology for this lottery cluster fuck. I, for one, appreciate that.
