An anomaly.. please help!

Post by organizedchaos » Wed Feb 08, 2012 11:52 am

I posted this in another forum trying to see if this happened to anyone else.. but no reply so I thought I would try again..

My best friend was awarded 2 tickets, at tier 2. As in two separate charges for the same amount on his card, two different confirmation numbers/emails. Since I wasn't awarded a ticket this strange coincidence works out well for me, but now I'm nervous that the ticketing process will realize the mistake and cancel his second transaction. We also checked his confirmation of registration email, which also only says 1 ticket.

Has this happened to anyone else? Mod's.. any directive on if I should take this ticket and run or if it will likely be cancelled in the upcoming months?
The answer is never no.

You need to contact Participant Services (Ticketing) at partiserv (at) burningman (dot) com, they'll be able to give direction. The person who was awarded the tickets should probably do the contacting.

Yeah - YOU do nothing. THE PERSON WHO REGISTERED should contact participant services asap.
