FILE A FTC.GOV COMPLAINT OVER TICKET B.S.

Postby Gov Complaint Guy » Thu Feb 09, 2012 9:40 pm

There is only one way to get to the bottom of this mess.
That is to file a consumer complaint with the FTC . https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/
As it appears there may have been some serious wrong doing, with the legalities of doing this "Lotto" and how the selection process was set up.
We need answers.
Far too many have far too much invested to be passed aside by the possible unlawful doings of a few.
Sadly, BM is reading like the last chapter in George Orwell's "Animal Farm".

So this is the posters first post.
Hmmm.
As a lawyer, I'd like to know whether the complainant tell us exactly what law BMorg have breached - you can't just complain with no legal grounds.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me.

Not spam (the FTC is a government agency). Just someone who doesn't understand that the LLC has more lawyers who are more familiar with the ins-and-outs of the laws around what they're doing then a random person does. Shocking as that may be.

You can bet that's why the drawing that was done isn't being cancelled, and why they're not releasing too much information about the next move.

I think it is funny that anyone would consider legal action against an organization that has NOT cost you one thin dime, unless you bought a ticket,,, if so, what's the beef?

Exactly! Those that bought tickets and had no intention of attending are scared shitless! Burners are defending burners and those who would like to make a "Fare" profit cry foul. But we're burners most of us deal with jealous haters 24/7. They want our work for cheap or free. They oogle our women and slur or men. Their mind is set on how we are to be and to act for them. They steal our Sound of music until it is blasting in commercials at halftime. they force us to re invent our selves and shine brighter. When we come together on this we are the attractive force and they fall into our orbit. They burn up on entry and forever smolder with lust.

OP misses the point. If anything, the complaint should go to the Federal Gifting Commission, as the concept of "Trade" is a fundamental misinterpretation of the economy of BRC.

Actually you can complain as much as you like and with no other reason tha you're a whiney bitch. You may not, however, get anyone to listen to you or, even if they do listen, ultimately do anything about your complaint. This is why whiney bitches are generally considered annoying regardless of grounds, president, or legal expertise.

No, you don't. Kids in Africa need food and vaccines.

You can cancel or sell your ticket and choose not to go. Getting another government agency involved in Burning Man is just what we need.

hahahaha Do you plan on filing a complaint with the FTC every time you play the lottery and don't win the jackpot? What about when you go to Vegas and the dice don't roll your way? You tried, it didn't work out. Keep trying or give up but don't cry like a baby in a soiled diaper.
