Hello, my name is Bruce Lee, aka Reverend Phunzjyn (pronounced: Funshine), 3 years on the playa. I am a visual artist (primarily acrylic painting) and an event planner/facilitator, among other things. I am also completely flummoxed by the current fiasco and am thinking of skipping this year (not like i really have a choice at the moment). My plan this year was to provide a mid-city art gallery in addition to the small day-time stage my camp operates, and possibly perform a wedding ceremony or two. Although i am extremely disappointed in the way things are going and almost want to push for a general strike of artists and theme-camps or throw a simultaneous counter-event, the truth is that I am a Burner 52 weeks a year and hope for the best. Here's to everything working itself out.
Much Love
Bruce Lee Phunzjyn

I hope it works out that you end up with a ticket. I'm partial to the little art gallery type places. Welcome to the Eplaya!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hi Reverend Phunzjyn! Your nick knocks me out.
I understand your conflicted feelings, and I'm glad you haven't given up yet.

Re: Shout out from Tahoe
thanks everyone. . .
on the bright side of the fiasco, one of the new projects (new midsummer-ish conscious burner festival) i'm a part of is getting greater access to support from other theme camps who are forced to scrap plans for 2012 in the city. evolution happens.
