Theme song for all the do-gooder, anti-scalper vigilantes out there that want tickets back in STEP (cause that's a solution, er not really):

Baker Street - Rafferty
Winding your way down on Baker Street
Light in your head and dead on your feet
Well another crazy day, you'll drink the night away
and forget about everything
This city desert makes you feel so cold
It's got so many people but it's got no soul
And it's taken you so long to find out you were wrong
When you thought it held everything
You used to think that it was so easy
You used to say that it was so easy
But you're tryin', you're tryin' now
Another year and then you'll be happy
Just one more year and then you'll be happy
But you're cryin', you're cryin' now
Way down the street there's a light in his place
He opens the door, he's got that look on his face
And he asks you "where have you been?"
You tell him who you've seen
and you talk about anything
He's got this dream about buyin' some land
He's gonna give up the booze and the one night stands
And then he'll settle down, in some quiet little town
And forget about everything
But you know he'll always keep movin'
You know he's never gonna stop movin'
Cause he's rollin', he's a rollin' stone
And when you wake up it's a new morning
The sun is shining, it's a new morning
But you're going, you're going Home
Winding your way down on Baker Street
Light in your head and dead on your feet
Well another crazy day, you'll drink the night away
and forget about everything

Nice!
TRAGEDY - The Bee Gees
Here I lie In a lost and lonely part of town
Held in time In a world of tears I slowly drown
Going home I just can't make it all alone
I really should be holdin' you, holdin' you
Lovin' you, lovin' you
Tragedy
When the feeling's gone and you can't go on
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear With no one to love you you're going nowhere
Night and day There's a burnin' down inside of me
Oh, burnin' love With a yearnin' that won't let me be...

Re: Greatest Hits of Ticketing 2012
I just wandered back in because of the ticket discussions and need to be brought up to date. What should I do to purchase for 2012 or are those gone? Secondly, if there are suggestions being made for equitable ticket distribution, one idea I would like to throw into the pot is a "buy one give one program." That is, if I buy a full price (whatever that is) ticket for myself, and would be willing to by one or more low-income tickets to be given (or sold by BM) to low-income ticket requestors, maybe that would be a fair way to move me up the priority chain (and also possibly discourage scaplers?). I don't know...just a thought.
You could also do the buy one, give one (the give one's being full price too) with the "given" one being given to the burning man people to sell/distribute as they see fit. I don't think it goes against the 10 principles because the BM org gives and gives and tries like hell to make things as fair as possible to all parties, but they shoulder a substantial financial burden that the "double" sale of the ticket could help alleviate.
