((((catman))))
I recently got a cat. His name is Buddha now, cuz he has a big fat round head. Looks like Garfield. We're warming up to each other. Cat eats like hes starving. One of the neighbors died, and when the relatives came to get the furniture, they left Buddha behind. He's getting a buddy soon -- a 6-toed cat named Snowball.

Re: Rest In Peace
Saw an old friend of mine this morning; she is doing some landscape architecture for me. In the midst of our conversation, she reveals that her aunt (whom she'd been caring for) passed away over New Years. Her mom died a couple of years ago. She says she's now caring for her 91-year-old dad. She's having a hard time of it, but I think she welcomed that she could share with me, since I'd been through all of that. Couldn't offer much advice, and I know it doesn't help as much as a kind ear. So I'm glad I thought to call on her for the landscaping.

Re: Rest In Peace
Bad week for friends & animals.....
RIP Renee
She was found dead in her car yesterday, she had been living in it for the past 2 years.
Not sure of exact cause of death. Just seems odd. Renee was about 40 years old, no kids,
no family here, homeless.
RIP Richard
He actually died a couple months ago from liver failure & heart attack. 43 years old, homeless.
Newspaper said his chronic alcoholism killed him. Richard loved his Jim Beam & Jack Daniels.
He was found dead under a tree.
The circle of life....

Re: Rest In Peace
Our house mate Josh stopped breathing this morning. Just yesterday, he was helping me put the arms on our man, and mentioned how he really wanted to check out Burning Man. We are thinking of burning the man in his memory.

it'll be a little over 3 years when I step foot on the playa for the first time. i'll be bringing you with me. the shirt i wore to your memorial.
i'm going to attach it to this years temple. i don't know why you took your life and i know longer question it.
i know you are no longer suffering and that's all i can take comfort in.
rest in peace alex taherkhan

Someone complains. I'd imagine that what they complain about is sex or copy write violations. Privacy issues as well, maybe.

Harold Moss, co-author of "Drawing Down the Moon" and one of the seminal figures in the early California new age movement is lost to us. He was also the last living descendant of Madame Blavatsky, a seminal figure in the early Theosophist movement, who brought primary education to India, including this little fellow who would later be called "Mahatma Ghandi." I think, during the speech, all the names of people who did not get the ticket should be read.Token wrote:

Re: Rest In Peace
A very nice man, the Sheriff of Blanco County Texas, Sheriff Bill Elsbury died this morning of a heart attack. He was not a close personal friend of mine, just one of those guys you see in line at the BBQ joint that is always nice and friendly. Always waved as I blew past him on my way home from work, shook his finger at me a time or two. Think about his family, and hug your loved ones.

He sounds like a very nice fellow Tamara
RIP my Butter Ball Buster Brown
I lost my 14 year old yellow lab yesterday. I adopted him as a 9 month old puppy. I remember waiting the 2 day waiting period before he was available to adopt. There was 12 people on the list after me when they called. He was such a good puppy
. Best dog two little boys could want.
He was what they called a blockhead lab and my vet always told me he needed to loose 10 lbs. haha. well he was a little chubby at 110
But he could jump in circles up to the day he died.
I promised all my pets I would be a good mommy and spare suffering and it was time..
anywayI think we was a reincarnated bear, I swear he could wiggle his nose into the blackberry bush and come out with a ripe one everytime! Hell ke killed the poor apricot tree. maybe he'll get to be a cat next
