TPBM thinks we need to see more of Eric’s Kitties.

True. I've never seen any of Eric's kitties. What have I been missing?

TPBM would never admit it, but s/he gets nervous during thunderstorms.

Nope. After dealing with the flu all week, I am NOT canceling my weekend plans. I have a belly dance performance tonight, one of my best friends birthday is tomorrow (it'll be the first time in years I haven't bartended on St. Paddy's, I'm sorta excited), and Sunday is Fire Conclave and my birthday. I refuse to give up anything this weekend .

TPBM has far more interesting weekend plans than I.

Don't know it they're better, but I am looking forward to them. Tonight I'm going to see an old friend in SF perform in Sam Shepherd's "A Lie Of The Mind", and tomorrow night I'm seeing Agatha Christie's "The Mousetrap". I stay away from St Paddy's stuff as that would ruin me for the weekend.

Nope. I sit it out, arms folded, nose in the air, thinking so loud that you can almost hear me, "I'll celebrate St. Patty's Day when you celebrate St. Stanaslaus!" Now, if I can only figure out who was patron saint of Upper Silesia, I'll state my further demands.

The person below me wonder what the appropriate color of beer is needed for St. Jude's.

EDIT: Dang it Eric yer too fast! Yes, a tin roof would be a delight...they can be "tuned" like in those Japanese water gardens, the kind they tune to the perfect ptich and music using rain, streams and the rocks in the streams. I lived in one of those for a week in Hawaii. I will return, someday.

TPBM knows how to surf or has a good story about trying to learn and how advanced they became at that sport....

EDIT: I give up, you're both just to swift! and yea, Fishy would know how to surf...so the answer is yes (especially in this virtual surfing online world!!) ;)

It's true. It's a brittle, frayed, shapeless, shoulder-length mess. But am I ready to go back to short? Not sure...

Yeah,,, they forced us to do it in gym class around 7th grade. It was also part of a generalized folk dancing class I took as a young adult.

TPBM has actually attended a real square dance

TPBM will enlighten me as to what SOTP means.

If it means "So Over the Past," then yes. If it means "Straight Out of the Trailer Park," then no.

If it means "Straight off the Playa," I'm not sure. Are there a lot of reformed squares in BRC? Unreformed punsters?

SotP is Simon of the Playa. One of our more vociferous members. And we adore him (or at least I do).

TPBM thinks I should be posting in

If I could sing, I'd probably be a tenor. I have a pretty deep voice for someone named Catherine. Sadly, I can't carry a tune, so I am always asked to stop singing.
