I think that I'll huddle beneath the bed like a dog on the Fourth.
TPBM can totally relate to accidentally hitting "caps lock" and then hitting "tab" to return to regular letters.

WOW! Didn't work for me, went straight to preview when I tabbed. Speaking of which, TPBM absolutely loves

I think the last can of tab I had would have been when just a kid. I remember the ads though.
TPBM is wondering why St Patricks day is "such" a big thing in the USA.

(well I want to know anyway) Its a drinking day here and we have lots of irish heritage (eg me)

Sorry, I hate SPD. And i refuse to celebrate until at the very least St. Stan is held in the same esteem. And then there's George (England, Catalonia), Andrew (Scotland), Dennis (ahem! France), David (Wales) and all those tiny duchies, counties and principalities that were Germany and Italy until the recent past.

TPBM thinks that all sucks for those people in parts of the world who weren't even christian, much less catholic.

I don't really think about it one way or the other. Religion is really weird.

TPBM wants to soak in a hot tub (or the equivalent).

Yes, I did. :P Also sand castles on the shores of the Long Island Sound (sweet memories & one of my "happy places" when things get tough) the tide would come in and wash them away...we would try to save them, but there was always another day and more sand castles.

TPBM fire roasts tortillas, bread (toast), bell peppers etc! over an open flame gas stove without using a pan of any type. Yum!

Yup. Especially tortillas- hell, we "import" those from Arizona & freeze them so they have to be treated right!

no soda bread, but I did look at corned beef today. figure it will be on sale tomorrow, and I do like it. It makes a good sandwich, good mustard delivery vehicle.

I'm not much of a beer drinker, and food colouring doesn't make it any more appealing to me. I did, however, enjoy some gin & sodas with slices of lime in them yesterday. So I did my green-adult-beverage-drinking duty!

TPBM has a garment full of playa dust that s/he takes out and sniffs now and then, just to bring back the feeling...

Yes, but I generally prefer cayenne pepper. I find most paprika is kind of bland and, dare I say it, dusty tasting (not playa dust, just regular). That said, I did have a jar of lovely hot Hungarian paprika a few years ago, and it was great stuff.

TPBM has painted toenails.

I think that they are irritating. If we stipulate some sort of electronic ink, and a format that's portable, and the fact that there are differing opinions in real newspapers, in a way there isn't on the web. But doing the crossword puzzles won't be the same.
