No, but our school bus in VA went by a cemetery daily. The other kids taught me to hold my breath until we were past the place. Care to share? I know, I could google it.

I got to see inside the Carthedral when it was on display over at the Towe Museum in Sacto - I love the stained glass... what a phenomenal car! (IIRC the bottom is an S&S FC, the top is VW. The workmanship and work superb!!!! And yea, verily, the DMV would likely never approve it as an approved mutant vehicle nowdays... ;( Sad for such a legendary piece of drivable (and street legal) art..

The early Coaches look like they're out of the 20's... I've seen a 29 Cadillac, a slick and streamlined late-30's Packard "Combo" (both a hearse and an ambulance), and my favorite, an ancient Packard conversion from about 20-something. The whole carved wood thing was part of the era... after all, who wanted their last ride to be in the back of a stakebed truck formerly used for hauling kegs of beer? (OK, never mind, I could think of a lot worse ways to be delivered to your final resting spot then via a beer truck!)

Like the old saying - Don't let your first ride in a hearse be your last...
