Well, speaking here about friends...I found this photo today and I have strong feeling it belongs here in happy thread.
(Even though I still wanna say fuck at the same time.)

that photo brought tears to my eyes.
I hope this boy will have friends like that his whole life, which is mostly ahead of him.

On the 'happy thread' theme, I've had a great day, completing a job
(out of town) which could have taken two days
in a matter of three hours!!! (and 8 hours driving there and back).

Extremely grateful for the Dawgs shining down on us today.

And, even more grateful for the FRIENDS here,
Some of whom I haven't even MET yet...
But all of whom I certainly hope to see Thursday evening
at the Meet and Greet on Thursday (30 Aug)

If you only knew how much you ALL mean to me...

As far as the Hof party goes, I have taken that route (by google earth) so many times,
I could probably drive it from here with my eyes closed!

All I need is the date and the knowledge that I may be there!!
I'm ready for details!! 8) :D

Grats, guessing the bus terminal worked then?
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

I am extremely grateful to the BMORG for approving all of the C.O.R.E. projects! 35 this year! While this means I won't be able to attend the M&G on Thursday, it means that for my first year on the playa, I will be part of an amazing art project with some wonderful and talented people. I hope many of you will stop by at some point and see our Dragon Lotus in transformation.
Actually I have a whole lot to be thankful for this year. Great job, great friends and family, and for the first time in recent memory, I feel really good about myself!

My son just passed his actuarial exam so hit him with all your best statistical probability questions at the meet & greet (ticket gods willing).

I need a happy thread.. I love sarcasm until I'm asking a real question and get bombarded with the FB group by bacon and rude remarks.

Thanks, I was just kidding about asking him math questions though. Fair warning - his answers tend to be in something that sorta resembles both English and math, but with a lot of words and terms us muggles have never heard before (I sometimes wonder if he makes some of it up just to yank my chain).
