The news says a 1.5 was measured in the town.

That still may not be the cause.
An investigation group in UK has found very odd things investigating unexplained events.
It often turns out to be strange resonances.

Some specific areas can amplify these small events though, like being on top of a taller house or one that resonates with the event.

That one sounds kinda suspect to me or embroidered quite a bit at the least. I've had quite a few close encounters with bears and I can't imagaine a bear sow letting a human get anywhere near close enough to her cub to play patty cake.

The lion attacking is quite believable athough the 3 I've run into stared at me for a few seconds then walked off. I believe they are more agressive out west though.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.
