Where is this weather station at? Is this an actual feed direct from BRC?

it is current weather from the BM office in Gerlach.

Interesting. I'm seeing a pretty big difference in the reported/forecasted temps between weather.com and what is posted there. Weather.com says only a low of 63 for Gerlach!

Definitely showing a cooling trend over the next 10 days..

Accuweather is in agreement too!! Ouch.. in the 40s for burn night..

Not sure but, I do know some of the info is taken from the nearest reporting station, in some cases it is Winnamucca.
This is located at the office in Gerlach though.

Wonder if the Gerlach cam is working now?
Been a while since I have looked for it.

NWS equipment in Lovelock is commonly used to report temps/forecast for Gerlach.
I would trust the BM station more than national weather websites (accuweather/weather.com).
Nighttime temps can vary tremendously in the desert. The air cools fast and "pools" in low spots. I can walk down a 10' grade in my backyard and experience a 10 degree temp change.

I predict......
Some instability moving in this weekend that will probably just manifest as a little extra cloud cover.
Otherwise, next week (Burn Week) looks to be "average". Low 90's in the afternoon, cooling to upper 50's/Lower 60's in the morning.
Winds will build with afternoon heating.
Isolated earthquakes at 2:00 AND 10:00.

Visit our camp for current conditions, daily hi and low temps, wind and humidity.

Oh I would love me some rain around here right about now. We're getting trace amounts here and there (although we had a spot of rain last weekend). Mainly we are just dealing with the wind for the last week or 2.

As of today (3/28), the National Weather Service Climate prediction center is forecasting normal precip and higher than normal temps for the BRC area during the the summer.
