I sent Gentle an email yesterday late afternoon with pretty much everyone's info. Now, we're just waiting to hear back and see what the Ice Coordinators think.

John and I will be doing a couple shifts at Arctica. I think one is an early shift, Sunday, I think?

Bit late butting in on this thread

I followed the BM FB link a few weeks ago an volunteered for ice sales. I think it was for Arctica, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, no particular shift or job preferences and with a note to say that they could shift camps, days and shifts as desired if it helped their planning. Not heard anything back yet but I suppose it is early days.

dtbee, yeah it's still pretty early. I can't remember when i heard back from them last year for volunteer shifts for 2011 but I believe it was during the summer...

Ice is a really fun place to volunteer, hope we meet!

I believe Illy Dilly posted site-specific links in an earlier post in this thread - read back through it and you'll find them. They appear to target the different ice distribution sites. You may want to consider both the Arcitca links and the general volunteer link on ePlaya, to cover your bases.

And a very loud shout out to Illy Dilly for thinking of this event and researching/posting the direct links. Can I say something like "shout out" without sounding too goofy? Goofy or not, thank you, Illy Dilly. This is a good thing.

We've never worked the 3 or 9 spots. But the odds for this year would be pretty slim. We have our ice shifts already lined up, and with all the other volunteering we do, not including our root beer service shifts, adding another shift is not in the cards. Gotta leave some free time to enjoy the event!

Thanks for asking though. Maybe next year?

So far I have no ticket (waiting on STEP list)...

Personally I would suggest waiting for a ticket. But, I don't like to make commitments before I know I can follow through. Others, that apply to the make your own destiny theory, might tell you that you should sign up to work an ice shift.

She has received the email regarding our desire to populate the Tuesday shift with ePlayans.
Like many, she is busy with her 9-5, and is hoping to get some time this week to write us something back.
