BEER

Post by cowboyangel » Wed Sep 15, 2004 1:51 pm

It's about time we had a beer thread, hell.
My favorite is Red Tail Ale

I used to be production manager at Murphys Creek Brewing Co., and although the brewer was the second biggest dick in world (outside of the one in my pants), he made some great beer. The stout was stout and the Christmas brews were always interesting. Too bad they went out of business.

Last good beer I had was Anchor Steam's Christmas Ale, 1995. Stopped indulging after that.

When at home PBR Wise Guy Ale or Newcastle
When at a bar PBR or Newcastle on tap
When on the playa PBR Wise Guy Ale or Newcastle

I just happened to stumble onto Wise Guy at a liquer store. The slogan caught my attention: "Just hops barley and blah blah blah" I couldn't resist! Plus it was a dollar more than PBR

Pay close attention, you upper midwesterners who would impress this fishy.

Summit Avenue Brewery's Great Northern Porter.
This fishy has to admit that she hasn't had any since 1990, so it could be out of business, or the recipie may have changed or it isn't actually that good, but has the aura of greatness that much unobtanium acquires.

In general: darks and ales. Porters and Stouts. I can never remember whether it's top or bottom fermented that I like, but keep me away from lagers. Even Pilsner Urkel was a dissapointing vaguely soapy brew to my buds.

Not that I drink a lot of beer anyway. . .

Sam, i'm beginning to realise you talk about your dick a lot. You didn't do that in person, though.

Is this some eplaya compensation?
Really, there's no need.
Your personality does just fine.
Not to say you're a big dick...

If one is ever on the way or lives in San Francisco you should check out the Anchor steam tour. Excellent beers they never sell on the market and a Christmas beer they sell only one time a year.

And I cant remember the Micro brewery on 11th street across from DNA.

It's a guy thing...

Besides, the only activity my dick has seen in the last few years has been waste disposal functions, and people talking about it... Although, with the current slate of candidates, it is considering making a run for the Presidency in 2008... So, let's talk it up!!

Or, whatever it takes to get it up...
