I rarely eat jello, and even more rarely make it. Jello shots can be fun, and as a kid I remember liking it when my mum put fresh raspberries in hers (not her jello shots -- I'm sure she's never even heard of those -- just her jello in general).

ETA: Missed the jello boat. I LOVE ginger snaps.

TPBM thinks that talk of people's mothers and what they put in their jello just sounds really, really wrong.

I know what your momma put in her jello last night ;)

Well Mom never really made Jello it was more of Grammies thing and she used to put green beans in hers every now and then

TPBM tried sneaking veggies into their kids meals without success either

Actually both our daughters like veggies! We attribute that to their participation in our gardening efforts.

If by "unusual flower" you mean one of those lone geniuses who can solve the ticketing crises all by himself without input from anyone else, no.

I picked up some yummy fancy-chocolates the other day in Hayes Valley (SF), have some Easter candy (pastel candy corn, duckling shaped sweet-tarts & dark chocolate eggs), and then a bag filled with various chocolate decadence. I don't know if I can have a craving when my house is full of it.

Yes. Once or twice I have successfully lured Yggy with a turn of phrase in the hopes that he would run with it. The rest of the time, he is blatantly free-lancing. Although when I was writing about pee funnels, I was trying really hard to word it non-pruriently, because GOD, YOU GUYS.

The person below me had a really good lunch (details, pls).

No. I accidentally bought something that I hadn't realized I'd had before and made me almost sick the first time. This time I dumped the cheese, kept the pears and bizarre sweet stuff and half the bread and am supplementing with yogurt.
TPBM hopes that this will be enough to keep me going until I get off work.

I do hope so. I would hate to read that you'd expired as the result of a poorly-chosen lunch. However, if you do expire, I want you to post a reenactment of it here. I imagine it would be a very Edwardian kind of affair, involving a tenderly-clutched white handkerchief and a lot of sighing :)

there are so many great old silent films why would I waste my time with melodramas? Pandora's Box, however, I will watch repeatedly.

tpbm has seen a silent film in a classic 1920's theater with organ accompaniment.

Nope. I love black and white, including in recent/new films (most films by Jim Jarmusch), and I love films where the colour is so undersaturated as to be nearly black and white (Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy). But I'm also a fan of super-saturated colour (City of Lost Children is my favourite movie of all time). Basically, I want the photography to be beautiful and interesting and perhaps not entirely realistic-looking.

TPBM is wearing their favourite colour right now.

I've moved away from having a favorite color to having a favorite palette, from which I am wearing a color.
