My cane has a rounded tip, not a point. Pointless canes are safer. Put a rubber on your pointless tips, even better. Pointless tips covered with rubber will definitely help you.

Only go for the three point shot if you can reasonably make it. Which leaves most of you out. DON'T do it.

(There is something sweet about the image of a teen-aged BBSue sneaking over to the boys' side of the gym. Of course, there was something tragic about how my jr. high decided to have gym integrated by sex without really coming to terms with the fact of how mixed the whole thing really was. Was one of the good thing about having those huge, built into the wall bleachers that one could sneak behind. I looked at these guys, most of whom were, of course, all full of themselves, and when the coach said that it was like he suckerpunched the lot of them. I guess, for an old WW2 sergeant, it was kinda expected, but still, that was a shitty thing to do to those "young men".

Honestly, up until that point, it was probably the most couraageous thing I had done - get caught on the wrong side of that half court line, you got suspended for 3 days, no ifs ands or buts. And in our family, you may have well just handed me the pistol to do myself in. But I couldn't see them go into that game like a bunch of wounded puppies.

Taught me a LOT about mens egos...

if the point is to be pointless then surely that is the point which defeats the point of it in the first place thereby making it pointless. I suppose the best solution is to stop now before my head explodes which while spectacular would indeed be pointless.

My rubber came off my tip. Luckily, I brought extra.

Green lasers (DPSS variety) have crystals in them that need to be warm (but not hot) to get the maximum light out of them. So make sure your green laser pointer is warm enough on the playa.

If you are blinded by tips and lost in a forest, you can find north by feeling trees for where the moss is. This works in New Zealand, too.
