Yep, you got the idea. Your original reasoned suggestion was valid, saying, please release more information, here's what others do in this situation. But, to get a reasoned discussion here on ePlaya, instead of negativity, isn't going to happen. Instead, one gets the long winded putdown of everything one wrote sentence by sentence, a FU and assorted nastiness, a major misrepresentation as to your intent, one or two semi-funny snarky comments, some people consistently toeing the party line, drowning out the couple of people trying to have a reasoned conversation.
I feel for you. I finally joined this board when the lottery was announced late last year, to add to the chorus of people who were saying that this lottery was going to ignite a firestorm of problems. I should have known better, the same 5 or 10 people thoroughly shot me down also, got a couple of my posts removed, ... And, instead of apologies for being so absolutely wrong, as well as for the tone of their comments, we only get a couple of minor "yea, it could have been done better, maybe we should have seen it" apologies. With the majority of the people who shot down something so obviously a problem not apologizing at all, and wondering why there's 10 pages of threads on this ticket debacle, from people whom they put down as "whiners". Empathy is a human emotion, at least for some, but not for others.
Vargaso, and others here who are ticketless, best wishes on obtaining one for this year.
