I've never really been inclined to try noodlism.

TPBM reads nonfiction that is stranger than fiction.

In the month that I've been here, I've had a series of crushes already...

TPBM recently heard news about the object of their first crush.

Spending Sunday afternoon with one close friend and the whole weekend with my partner (who is my best friend and my family).
But not a particularly social weekend.

TPBM is looking forward to bacon and eggs tomorrow morning!

Hmmm... well, the front yard of my building is home to a very industrious squirrel. Who knows what kinds of terrible treasures he's buried there? I'm not about to go looking for them, though...

TPBM has a collection of LPs. Do you ever listen to them?

That omelet sounds delish, btw... drool...

I like the compactness and relative indestructibility of CDs, the warm sound and beautiful covers of LPs. I don't own any LPs, but I love listening to my parents' collection when I visit them.

TPBM is fond of Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass.

TPBM is going to answer TnT's question, above, which I so rudely (and unknowingly) interrupted (reposted below for your convenience).

You're getting two answers:
I dug a trench in Dad's Herb Alpert vinyl from playing Zorba The Greek so many times when I was a kid.
When I go party with the neighbors, we often dance to that same song...

Great song, great video! That dance lesson on the beach has to be one of the most beautiful things I've seen in a while...I now have to watch Zorba the Greek to see it in context.

When I was a kid, my Mum had the biggest crush on Yul Brynner. She'd get stars in her eyes when she talked about him. It was hard for me to understand the attraction -- I thought he looked like Mr. Clean. But now that I'm a bit older, I can see that he did have a certain je ne sais quoi.

TPBM will be offering dance lessons on the playa.

It depends. When I look at nubile young men, my maternal instincts kick in. I have a son that age, I think to myself. However, men 40 and up...mmmmm...nubile!

tpbm has a song that reminds them of someone and it makes them sigh.
Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

Not really, and not Mexico per se, but I fantasize often about moving somewhere the full range of temperatures goes from warm to hot.

TPBM is preparing to give a presentation.

We are hosting a birthday party for a very close friend and virgin burner for 2012. I haven't seen her for two months and so excited to enjoy everyone's company tonight.

TPBM might share their vision of a birthday party, Retrofrolic style.

Well.... it would involve candles, birthday bumps, pin the _________ on the ass (and other blindfold games), and maybe a food fight (?).

No. The things I'm scared of don't hide in closets. (I'm not Rick Santorum.)
TPBM thinks that's silly, because Santorum is scared of BTLG not in closets.

Yeah... there's a very large unknown around the bend that scares the shit out of me, but I really have no problems that merit complaint.

My party tricks are fairly limited. I can, however, have a conversation with ANYONE which makes me a great addition to any party.

TPBM has more reasons to be happy than they have to be sad.
