H. P. Love-Camp is taking applications and/or souls...

Do you miss the good old days, where you were so goth it hurt? Do you have piles of dark poetry laying abandoned in a closet? Do you find yourself wearing a suit or uniform to work each day, thinking about your investment portfolio, mortgage, or the next big promotion? What the hell happened to you? Well, it does not matter, because H. P. Love-Camp is here to make it all better, and help you get that darkling cathartic release on the playa in 2012.
H. P. Love-Camp is coming to the playa in 2012, and we are lookin for volunteers to flesh out our theme and enrich our camp. We are a pagan camp, sheltering the BRC Cult of Cthulhu. Nightly rituals will be held in our center pentacle. On the other hand, our goal is to be a bitingly satirical mockery of all things we hold unholy - especially ourselves - and be fantastically goth while doing it.
Our central thematic event is to prove the fertility of the playa by coaxing her to give birth to the dark god Cthulhu (aka our art car, it is based on a caddy hearse and it breaths fire and eats hippies!).
We refuse to take ourselves to seriously - its freaking burning man, we are going to have fun! Example: red and purple glow wire covered outfits so people can see just how 'dark' we are. We need YOUR help. We have infrastructure and a couple heavy lifters handled. (48' refrigerated tractor trailer, water tanks, gas, power, a sweet caddy hearse that is mutating as we speak... All we lack is a decent dome.) We need art and artists to help fit our theme - can you do goth makeup/makeovers? Can you create a 'dark' camp space while not being a darktard? Tarrot readings, goth poetry/plays/art etc. Your ideas help our ideas become something we will all remember forever.
Our application process is simple (read "the laziest thing I could come up with and convince the rest of the group was a good idea."). Design your own application, fill it out, and sit on it until we have posted a place to send it. Include in your application info about yourself, and why you want to join our camp, along with what you can contribute and ideas to make our shared time better.
We are loosely based near Los Angeles, however you can be from anywhere. (socal is where the trailer is if you want to contribute something big that needs transporting).

Unfortunately, it dose not look good for HP Lovecamp. We are 0 for 5 on tickets... Looks like only 2 of us will be able to afford the 1200 dollar scalper tickets, and even if we all get in it will be late in the game...

My actual advice; get creative. Often when we start offering things up we get back what we need. Contact your locals. Make plans to attend your regional pre-compression event.
Tell every person you know you need an in.

Cursed? I was denied presale tickets, and main sale tickets. I am actually currently in STEP with another heavy lifters from my camp, however I do not have much faith. So I am exercising a Burner core value of radical self reliance by making an ungodly amount of money out here in defaultia so I can make my way home at all costs, as well as gifting due to the fact that I am also buying my camp mates tickets.
