Well, the prodigal keys have returned with no obvious scarring from their flagrante delicto with your Soviet badges. Hope the badges have found their way home to you in like condition.

No idea. I haven't actually used that option. But I notice that the forum exercises a bit of caprice in choosing what to mark as "new" or "read," etc.

I am a poor speller. And i don't play scrabble. Of course, my family had a competitive streak that came out in games, and I was the second youngest, so when it came to the games needing a lot of skill that's acquired as you grow up it was very frustrating.

Oh, totally. It's as plain as the nose on Shostakovich's face, or something.

TPBM likes to embarrass others at the laundromat by folding his/her unmentionables in a very flamboyant manner.

Well, the terms BMOrg and Borg are used kinda interchangeably in some parts of these forums. Is that a Freudian slip on people's part, or a subtle act of agitprop? OR.... maybe they're being held captive by the actual Borg, and it's an encoded cry for help? Life is full of terrifying possibilities.

Sadly, the history I took was extremely Euro-centric up until about 1900 and Canadian/American-centric thereafter. I know little to nothing of South American history... there are some familiar names, but that's about it.

TPBM doesn't bother with fiction these days, because the truth is so much stranger.

I still bother myself with fiction, especially when I think I need to maintain sanity.

TPBM has a favorite fictional character and thinks the character resonates who they are.

I don't know that I ever really thought clocks were "right". I remember having a discussion with someone about a clock that syncs up to the atomic clock every day, years ago. I thought "why bother", the amount of inaccuracy is so small that it doesn't matter, I'm not a scientist, it doesn't matter.
