Well, if they're chasing me with intent to kill, I think BH is probably easier to get away from. Otherwise, no.

TPBM has personally seen a ghost or cryptid animal.

I saw an albino blacktail buck at Almaden Reservoir in 1986 in a dry tributary bed near the spillway at dusk. Both my buddy and I swore we saw its eyes faintly glowing red...

TPBM is thinking "Are we there yet?"

It's hard to clean. In fact, I should be asking Simon how to discourage mold or mildew from 40 year old hide.
TPBM just remembered that the duck blind needs repair.

Uh, well, my vertical blinds are looking somewhat dodgy -- some of the slats don't sit right.

I slipped. I had three samples at the cafe, forgetting that if I avoided treats all week, I get to try the creme brulee cart on Friday. Now I'm not sure what my status is.

A whole box of glazed doughnut holes, 16 oz..

Salt and borax worked into hides will remove most of mold. A bleach wipe will remove most biologicals.

I do not have duck or window blinds.

Tubas make the band!

TPBM is truely happy. Really. :D

...and I with a huge plate of cream-sauce pasta. (But... but... it was whole wheat pasta! And there were lots of veggies! Let's not talk about the fact that the sauce was full of butter, whipping cream, sour cream, and olive oil.....)

Fishy, I think you should still visit the creme-brulee cart. Maybe share one?

Back to the game:

Truly happy? Hmm... content, mostly. My life is good, and relatively drama-free. I like the people in it. But I annoy and/or disappoint myself frequently. And I worry about people I love.

TPBM, it's time to water the plant(s)!

(Oh wow, I have an eplaya crush on Ratty! Does she even come to this part of the board?)
TPBM will tell us about her/his eplaya crush...

I can't, sorry.
I feel like my eplaya persona is turning out to be borderline creepy, so it's almost certainly unrequited. And I fear that if I tell, I'll frighten that person away.

TPBM has a unicorn picture or figurine prominently displayed in their home.

My answer to the eplaya crush question. yes. yes. yes. yes. yes. yes, and er, maybe. Cat, don't worry, it's the internet, and plus in real life we get to wear masks and costumes.

oh hell no, on the unicorn.

tpbm is wondering what to do with a project stalemate. would visiting a hardware store be a good idea?

Yes on the first part (stalemate).
And on the second (hardware store): IF ONLY. Sadly, it's not that kind of project.

TPBM has found a new use for an old tool.

Well, I found an old tool that's new to me but I'm not sure what it is. I'll have to post it in the What Is This thread.

tpbm is ready for a road trip.

You promised you'd never tell, about the unicorn (that's just creepy).

TPBM is overdue for a luxurious long hot shower or a soak in an oldtimey deep clawfoot tub.

Oooh, a soak in a proper, deep bathtub sounds nice. I might have to break into one of the nice Victorian houses down the street...
I'm always craving a road trip. ALWAYS.

TPBM doesn't remember falling asleep in the bathtub, but does remember waking up there. That was one hell of a party, eh?

I don't know that I will ever take another bath.

In fact, if you need a reason to hate The Time Traveler's Wife, here's one: No fucking way is a man without feet going to get his slippery ass out of a bathtub with only the assistance of a woman in her 70s and his under age daughter... Can we say "Lift"? Plus, no way would a social worker check him out of the hospital if he were that depressed and his net worth is ~$8,000,000. Sure, she talked to archivists, she talked to paper artists, but she couldn't talk to a pt.

TPBM thinks the random rants on eplaya are worth the price of admission (free).
(ha! this works for the post above and the one above that!)

oh, I'd pay a subscription fee if necessary. Haven't seen that movie, but am learning about the odd slippery noodly and concrete nature of lifting the human body, positioning and timing and cooperation if possible seem to account for more than strength.

I grabbed a quick shower yesterday, when the window of opportunity opened, and thanked all the powers that be for being afforded the absolute luxury of bathing in hot potable water, upon demand, indoors.

tpbm had a dream about building a house recently.

No. I dreamt about a friendly cougar (the four-legged kind) and an unfriendly lion. Fortunately, the cougar protected me from the lion long enough for me to escape from what turned out to be a tyrant's zoo enclosure. Also fortunately, I didn't encounter the zombie with the inside-out eyeballs in there until I was on the safe side of the glass. Sadly, the gaunt man with the greyish skin wasn't so lucky. I managed to wake up before finding out whether it would be the lion or the zombie that ate him.

I think it would be nice to dream about building a house.

TPBM prefers whist to pinochle and poker to both.

I think sunsets are more visually spectacular, but I think I prefer the sunrise, especially if I'm seeing it because I was out all night, with friends... maybe on a beach (or... a playa?). Those moments...

*drifts off into reverie*

TPBM recently re-remembered a long-lost, beautiful memory.

A transgendered Filipino midget floating around a shallow aquamarine bay on an inflate-a-date in the Marshall Islands at sunset, accompanying me on the ukelele while I sang some rock solid John Denver chart toppers while smoking a real Cuban cigar and sipping off a handle of VSOP from the package store in Guam. *sigh*

Don't see it happening too soon, though. Although, maybe...

I don't use glue guns for a reason. Since they seem to be designed to burn fish fins, and any actual glueing is a side effect.
