I wish. No, it's shoulder-length and wavy but also... thin and fine and kinda limp at the top, while frizzy at the ends... and badly in need of being cut. It's less "mad scientist" and more "depressed grad student." Sigh...

TPBM prefers to keep his or her head shaved.

TPBM has and a "damn globalization" moment sometime this year from attempting to work with someone in a time zone 12 or so hours apart.

Elorrum; great minds think alike. Maybe soon we'll know what a fad hammer is.

Dogs don't need haircuts, do they? my lovely mutt is a husky cross so she's shedding her own undercoat. I'm sure there's a use for all this hair.

Damn Globalization requires us all to be available to work 24 hours a day.

TPBM knows what to do with husky hair.

It's usually I who buttered it, so in that case, yeah. Otherwise, I figure it out by dropping it onto the floor.

TPBM knows which side his/her butter is toasted on.

Not my preference. I do like my toast to be toasted, but charcoal is beyond that.
(Growing up, though, my parents always burned the toast. I'd assiduously scrape it off, and they'd shake their heads, saying "it's not toast if there's no black on it!" But, no, that's not my style.)

I seem to remember my dad making paper ones for me a couple of times. But mostly we were all about throwing sticks off the upstream side of the bridge and seeing which would make it to the downstream side first (I believe this came is called Pooh Sticks).

TPBM enjoys watching all sorts of races.

I was watching television Saturday night and Star Trek: Insurrection came on, and before I persuaded my host to change the channel, I found myself briefly vexed by the predictable humanoid aliens. Can't we ever just have some sentient gel blobs that shriek and shoot fire? Thank you.

At the moment they stand about even. But I used to have more tools than all the shoes I have ever had put together.

for TPBM a trip to the toy store means Home Despot, Lowes or Harbor Freight.

I love me some Home Hardware, but I'm more enthralled with the materials than the tools. Still, the day I brought home a mitre box and a hand saw a couple of years ago, I giggled like a kid on Christmas the whole way home.

TPBM has a strange morning ritual.

OOPS... Permanent Fatal Typographical Error!
catinthefunnyhat wrote:(I believe this came is called Pooh Sticks).
Where I typed came there, I meant to type game. I know where Pooh Sticks comes from. I just couldn't remember for sure if the game we played was it.

No, but I like that. We called it janitor. As in, "Hey, you wanna learn a cool game? It's called janitor. OK, you get to be the janitor for the first hand..." I've never won that game (gullible and a terrible liar).
