TPBM can't figure out which set up (Bohemian Waxwing or Bohemian Waxody) is a better lead up to the punch line "I'm just a poor bird, from a poor family..."

That is indeed a difficult call. I would say Bohemian Waxody because it rolls of the tongue more easily.

TPBM needs a cuddle.

I'm freezing cold, so it would be a nice way to warm up.

TPBM, how many years do you think it will be until BM is exclusively populated by pairs of "soul mates" who (a) met, (b) fell in love, (c) got married or (d) conceived a child on they playa, and who are there to (a) get married, (b) renew their vows, (c) celebrate their anniversary, or (d) conceive a(nother) child?

BONUS: TPBM is surprised to discover that there is such a thing as a jaded n00b.

True, but its on my list right behind making it to my first burn(I will get a ticket, dammit. 12:24 timestamp be damned), finding a new job that pays a liveable wage, learning to grow my own food, fixing my car(yet again)...

yeah, don't think i have. i'm a bit risk-averse, and every coming-of-age movie i saw as a kid seemed to have a cautionary scene in which people crossed a trestle-bridge with calamitous consequences.

TPBM has been flossing regularly. do you have a dentist appointment next week, or something?

No, I hate to floss as much as anyone else. But I should make a dental appointment. Eyesez, too.

Nope. I went to the dentist a couple of weeks ago, and I'm going to the eye doctor on Friday. I've been very diligent with the checkups the last couple of years.

Google helped me: District 9.
I would have thought some old 1950s schlock thing. Wasn't District 9 a big-budget Hollywood deal? I kind of remember thinking I wanted to see it at one point...

TPBM will tell me about a great BM theme camp/bar/art installation with the number 9 in its name.
