I've never bought anything on ebay.

TPBM spends too much time and/or money on etsy.

Umm.... no. Or if I was, I've forgotten it. Maybe i'll remember it at the last minute, and then it will be a surprise for me! YAY!

TPBM has never been fond of surprises.

Haha... it's not much of a thing up here, actually. I'm sure Mexican and pseudo-Mexican restaurants will be doing their best to capitalize on those who do celebrate it, but Mexican Independence Day, in September, is a much bigger deal up here. That's when you see cars driving around with Mexican flags, and there's a big celebration in front of City Hall.

TPBM is wondering what's the point of making your motorbike as noisy as possible.

Nope; never even heard that before (really, we don't do Cinquo de Mayo up here), but it's kinda funny in an "I'm way more in touch with my inner fratboy than I care to admit  " kinda way.

TPBM is looking forward to berry-picking season.

Time is the perpetual now to me, so I'm not sure if I know when berry-picking season exists.
(At least I have an awesome songfor a small chunk of eternity.)

TPBM has explained Cinco de Mayo as the equivalent to St. Patrick's Day. Just instead of Irish heritage it's Mexican, and the drinks are slightly more fancy. To someone recently.

Not the basic one (aka "Sevens") but I do like spider. Lately, I play hearts vs. the computer a lot.

Quite the opposite, actually. My body has this lovely new habit (well, it's not actually new; it's one that had been forgotten and has now been rediscovered) of waking me up every morning between 3 and 4 and keeping me awake for a good hour, for no reason. Even on days when I get tonnes of exercise and fresh air, avoid caffeine and alcohol, eat well, feel good...

TPBM is running late, again.

I wish. I understand some words, not phrases. My g-parents were assimilationists who wouldn't speak it once they learned English. Frighteningly, I know more than my dad. We don't know how.

I actually do. I speak Tamil which is my heritage language. It's a rich and complicated language with recorded history of literature over 2000 years. I can read and write Tamil.

I'm fighting off something horrible. I thought the digestive insult I was experiencing the other day was due to an overdose of leafy greens... but I'm still experiencing it, now coupled with a sore, scratchy throat and ears that feel full of cotton. Alas, poor me!

TPBM has a lot of pens in his/her pen pot, but most of them are dead.

I do try and throw the bad ones away. I don't need the aggravation. I maintain an open pen pot at work (hey, I like pen pen better...) and I'd far rather people walked off with the pens (I get cheap ones for this) than leave a dead pen. I mean, really, what's the point to a dead pen. (I'd say "what's the nib to a dead pen" but that's a different kind of pen.)

I wouldn't say "staunchly," but I do love the look, feel, smell, and ease of a physical book, so I've not yet invested in any of those e-reader things. Of course, I also don't have a mobile phone, mp3 player, or any type of iThing, so maybe I'm just a luddite.

TPBM had bacon with breakfast this morning.

tpbm drove by the most fantastic thing they've ever seen today.
