Would you like to adopt a Mutant Vehicle?
This vehicle is totally modified, has been licensed for several years. Has El wire, sound, seating for 8.
Needs some tlc. e.g. replace choke cable, general tweaking etc.
Would like to transfer ownership to a new group. Only condition is that it will not be sold and when it is time to pass it on to another adoptive group it will be on similar terms.

keep in mind that any new owner will need to apply to the DMV as the owner of that vehicle each year

the person who applies as owner of the vehicle is the one who needs to bring it for inspection as the owner is the one who signs off on the documents.. and who is ultimately responsible for it....

that sort of means..no real transferring ownership after the application deadline passes because you cant get a new application in.

this years DMV deadline:

May 15, 2012 at 12:00 noon Pacific Time

i think that the ownership thing has caught some people unawares when buying/selling mutant vehicles in the past.. for stuff that already applied/was coming .. or people fulfilling sales on the playa

i think i remember seeing some 'already DMV approved' vehicles for sale in the past somewhere.. which might not work so well in practice!

The Dragon is not for sale. It is for "gifting" , totally in keeping with the spirit of BM. I understand the ownership/responsibility issue and have no problems following the rules. Many mutant vehicles are products of a group effort and ownership is fluid especially those that are not registered with real world DMV and Titled.

Oh my, she/he SeaDuh is Beautiful !- is that foam sculpted? is that a seat on top of the body? How is it powered, driven? and comes with trailer? and has sound too- incredible - I am amazed - and intrigued - and can see it in my camp's future - (and can see it shiny purply red) - I've been part of the Gypsy Queen Fishing Vessel crew the past few years, super fun super big super responsibility... (ps the GQ is made and out there already but due to no tix.. she won't be making an appearance 2012, sad...) But a small lovely dragon for my small lovely camp could be useful and fun! We could make a dinosaur like sound come out when the horn is needed, with light effects coming out the mouth...

Mr Frank I would like to find out more about adopting the Seaduh - can we talk more?

Frank,
This dragon does ROCK! Beautiful work and love the ocean dwelling habitat. What part of the country are you in? I have a brother in Carson who may be interested - I am in DC and our little group has our own art car we tow from LA, but would love to find a way for the dragon to continue roaming BRC. If the easy coast guy falls through we should talk. Actually I should probably discuss with my peeps first - this mutant vehicle has me thinking wayyyyy ahead of myself.
