Re: ePlaya Fitness Club
Fufa, I love the My fitness app! I didn't eat all the calories I was alotted but it felt good to actually eat real, good, healthy foods and be able to keep a record of it! With that, plus the gym, I should be losing the weight at a good pace! Thank you so much! When I get the hungrys for sweets, I eat 2 of those Hershey's miniature candy bars. I buy the bag with the mixed assortment. Plus I gave up Coke, my favorite soda...*groan* But I decided to have 1 can a month, maybe. I'm also going to stay off the scale for the first month.
I can't wait until I 'm able to notice a change in size! Wheeee!! YaaaaaY!

Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

Yay! I feel great when I stay below the calorie goal. A whole month without soda though? Don't be too hard on yourself!

Re: ePlaya Fitness Club
Walked to the coffee shop and back in my new barefoot runners! 40 minutes total, and they felt like wearing nothing at all. If they continue to feel this amazing, I'm going to save up for another pair in a different colour.

I woke up in a good mood, and yesterday I made two necklaces. This sounds like next to nothing, but hey, it is really major considering the crash I had after vacation.

Re: ePlaya Fitness Club
I'm still getting smaller! I did 60 mins of walking at home aerobics, and am starting on this month's kick it up a notch - 1 meal of protein shake per day plus all the other stuff. It's working: I just bought A SMALLER bra, as my white one is on it's last hook.
I now need to put new batteries in my wii board so I can get an accurate weight reading. I hate spring operated scales, they wear out. Next month Gonzo and I are planning on building a patio where we can do weight training. Woot. By then we'll be hot into bm prep, but there is always time to push lead.

Re: ePlaya Fitness Club
I skipped the gym yesterday on the thinnest excuse, and today looks like rain once again. I have to get back on track, and I'm in a funk. Yech.
Re: ePlaya Fitness Club
I missed a workout last week, so I only got 2 workouts in. I don't have any good excuses either (beyond not being able to run, which I should become more accustomed to by now). I simply didn't get it together. I did walk around shopping for hours, so I am trying to comfort myself with that.
This week began with the usual dance class. I forgot my workout clothes today though, so I will either have to hope it doesn't rain so I can do some rollerblading once I get home, or workout Thursday and Saturday to complete the triumvirate, as forseen by prophecy.
I have had only two cups of coffee in the last 8 days. I switched to tea, because it's Spring, so I can't sleep, and coffee seemed kind of gross and overwhelming the other day. (It seemed like my annual cue to ease off coffee.)
However, although I'm sleeping better, and my blood pressure no doubt reflects the switch, I am a Saaaad Panda.

I did get to the gym today, although I didn't stay for the entire class. I skipped the water resistance weights at the end. My seroma is judging me harshly just about now.

Isn't this just music video stuff?
I think it would only be cool if people started singing at inappropriate times too.

UD, I skip in my KAIA class but have not learned the art of the but slide across the front of a car !
Oh my god, it's HUGE!
Re: ePlaya Fitness Club
Immediately before the video I posted, Tony was run down by a bus.
He is actually injured and unconscious when he sings.
Maybe not as radical as the Buffy musical, but why do the music video thing halfway?

Cobbled together a recumbent stationary bike out of two old upright ones and a recumbent seat from one of my KSR vehicles. It's in two halves, so easy to move. Now I just need to use it. Only three weeks until the KSR Grand Championship, so I'm officially in training!

Sun sure made me squint, though.

Okay, I didn't really keep away from junk food because I got sick and stayed at home for three days and I probably can't go to the antiques fair tomorrow, although I admit that I'm not really wanting to anyway...

Recumbent bicycles were banned from formal bicycle racing ages ago, because they are so much faster than upright bicycles.
In Kinetic Sculpture Racing, most of us use the recumbent riding position.
