Nope stayed home all day working in the yard and sorting the garage. But was home when my daughter drove up and she is quite fantastic if I do say so.

Edit: Lucky420 beat me to it!

I feel tired, hungover, and a bit flu-ish today. So, not particularly satisfied. But, for a sick day, it was pretty decent.

TPBM makes berry juices at home.

No. I don't really cook. I had some vague idea of trying vodka infusions for this year, but I think that was me trying to be ambitious.
TPBM is working on a list of eplayans with palindromic names or nicknames.

No.... I'm not very clever that way. I don't think I'd even noticed one

TPBM has to stay home tomorrow because the repair people could show up at pretty much any time.

Yes. I'm still sick -- long enough now that I can conclude it's not the result of Thursday's vegetable overload or Saturday's very moderate alcohol consumption. And I'm exhausted, probably in part due to the illness and in part due to 3 weeks of sleeping poorly. Either way, I'm going to stay home and sleep as much as I can during the day today.

TPBM always saves their favourite socks for Mondays to help ease their way back into the work week.

no, but I like the idea. I cannot get up the nerve to go in to work. I slept 14 hours, and made a Dr. appt. for 2:00P. I could go in for 3 hours of absolute rip my face off stress, or I could assess the garage and start making room for my mother's stuff (more of her stuff) for her imminent move.

tpbm likes the way their day is going.

well, I guess I still have that option. Companion to the infirm, with the slight percentage of the estate not going to the animal shelter, perhaps. Funny, I actually like the work I do. I just can't stand the people I have to do it with.

I tried, but the fork just crumbled when I used cheddar, and it looked like a cheese explosion when I used brie.

NO, but I'm tired of having this thread languish.
TPbM believes in subtitles and kitchen cleavers.

Yes. although I don't have a cleaver at the moment. Some of my favorite movies are not in English. I find I'm using subtitles instead of concentrating on what people are saying in British gangster movies... sheer laziness.

tpbm needs to make a choice.

Yes. I have seen them both and know they exist.

...or do you mean believe in in the sense that I think they're good/valuable?
In that case, I'd say I believe in subtitles and am on the fence about cleavers (not having tried one).

...or do you mean believe in in the sense that I think they're correct/truthful?
In that case, I'd say I generally choose to believe in subtitles. Sometimes, I know enough of the source language to be fairly certain they're at least getting the gist of things. In most cases, I'm going on blind faith in the translators/publishers of the film. Kitchen cleavers have never said anything to me, but then again, maybe I just haven't been listening. Maybe if I had a kitchen cleaver, I'd spend enough time with it to hear its gentle voice...

...or by kitchen cleaver do you mean June Cleaver?
In that case, I'd say I don't think she exists but that she may be a composite of some real people, enhanced with stereotype and retrograde social norms. I'm not inclined to think highly of her or the things she says, but I've never watched more than the briefest of clips of that show, so my impression is borne of ignorance. Maybe she's a fount of wisdom.

TPBM was getting worried that I would go on like this all day.

I do! I love the rush of speed just before takeoff... I love the view from up there... I even enjoy a little turbulence.

TPBM's a bit jaded about flying; that's why s/he always requests an aisle seat.
