Sometimes I'm confused by what I think is really obvious. But what I think is really obvious obviously isn't obvious.

I suggested Gertrude on a whim for my sisters cat and she went ahead used the name. The only pet that I ever had that was really my own was my cat "Monster". So named because she liked to attack everything.

We generally name our cats based on my current obsession or their personalities.

Our current 3 are Beau (the big elegant one), Sydney (the completely ridiculous polydactyl), and Curie (after Madame, the too smart girl of the bunch)

Hey Fishy! That's quite a catch!

I also was blessed with being able to peel one of many BM stickers off my bus without breaking them.
One of them is a sticker from Tuna Guys; a Capt. Jim Sticker from 2010 Metropolis. made my eyes welt up a bit. he really was a good guy; and a burner too!

My car is fixed! It needed a new timing belt, water pump, and catalytic converter. I could never have paid for all of these things this quickly without everyone here on eplaya who helped. Thank you all so much! I just got it back in time to take my son to his scout derby car race tonight. He came in second! Very happy right now :)

Don't know where else to post this so I'll say it here, as it certainly makes me happy: I just got bumped up from the waiting list into the Lamplighters Village! I am so very excited to be part of this iconic group my virgin year! :D

Congratulations on getting with the Lamplighters! Cool gig.

My new lady is coming with me to see some Kyogen plays tomorrow, kind of like Noh or Kabuki, but shorter, and comical.
Since it's also my birthday, she wants to take me to a picnic in GGP and maybe a cake.

Indeed. He's been nicely patient and unwhiney. WE like that in a ticket seeker.

I have a new grandson. Welcome Jett Moeller to the world. 21 inches and 8 lbs 9 1/2 oz of cute baby goodness. Mom is recovering nicely.
AND my daughter Katelyn graduates from Baylor tomorrow morning. This is going to be a wonderful weekend :D
