It was great to meet so many of you at the MnG (or later in my own camp, in the case of CowboyAngel).

With apologies, however, I'm not going to even try to write out all of your names... many of my memories of the MnG are a little fuzzy, and for that I have to back Lydia up and blame Rob. One cup of green (and admittedly a little Tuaca and whatever that bitter made-by-monks French stuff was) and my life acquired a really bizarre blur-slide-and-stop quality for the rest of the evening. Best night's sleep I've ever had on the playa, though.

For those of you in the bay area, I hope to see you again before I leave town for good at the end of October (and for whoever might hail from Colorado, hope to see you there thereafter). But if not, see you next year!

Wait. If Lydia is the voice in my head, then why the hell did we go outside last night for girl talk? I'm so confused.

Too many playa names!

Oh that's so cute. The voices in my head are complaining about being cute. And they are talking to each other without me knowing it.

For some reason my psychiatrist doesn't think this is cute, but he may after he stops screaming in the basement.

Hmmm, she didn't mention that... Nothing either of you might have said about me is true in any way.

I realy wanted to take some pictures. But we were so bunched up and getting heat from one another. No way of breaking one out of the herd to snap. I had to scamper back to my camp and jump into bed. Damn Pyro turned the heat down so people would drink more to stay warm. Was nice"bumping"into all of you.

I got my picture taken out on the playa at Clay Enos' Playastudio. The photos of passersby were his gift to the citizens of BRC. His four-page photo gallery can be found at:
http://www.clayenos.com/misc/playastudio/

At the risk of being narcissistic (which, as you can see, ain't so easy when you look like I do), this is what I looked like on the playa:

RebA, Sunset and I were talking about that, and we didn't think (or more likely remember) you having a camera at the M&G this year, and bemoaning the fact that there aren't any true "group shots" as in the past. I am pleased that you did bring one. And if it's any consolation to you, none of my pics had you in them. Save that for B2B!

Goddammit! I never thought of that! What a photo-op! Next year we gotta have a group photo! And there should be individual photos of everyone, no matter how much they protest...
