Nope. I have some friends graduating, but they're too nice to expect me to sit in the sun for hours to watch them get a piece of paper.

I don't feel it yet, but I stayed up all night playing Internet, and then I slept for about 4 hours before it was time to get up. So, yeah, capitulation to fatigue is probably imminent, but I have too much to do...

Re: The person below me
I wanted one SO BAD. I asked for it for Christmas every year. That, or a train set, or one of those stupid oversized Barbie heads you put makeup on. Never got any of 'em. My parents were right about the Barbie head (and probably about the train set), but wrong about the chemistry set, I'm convinced.

Does Duran Duran count as a "boy band"? What about Def Leppard? I think my age group kind of missed out. The kids a couple of years younger than me swooned over Menudo. Back Street and NSYNC came later still.

Not funny, exactly. Kind of insulting to those it doesn't fit (and at various points in my life, that group has included me). But I get that "one size fits most," while truer, doesn't have a great ring to it.

Oh God, Yes! I just cant get into reading many books about history, though I did enjoy a summers worth of reading about WW2 in the pacific theater, which is how I ended up putting in for and getting a year and a half deployment to Okinawa.

The nice thing about a splinter is you get to perform minor surgery on yourself and feel all self-reliant and brave and shit. A papercut just stings and makes you feel foolish.
