Symbiosis Gathering--Pyramid Lake

Post by parkerpugs » Sat Jan 21, 2012 1:53 pm

I think their mission statement is spot on "Symbiosis aims to create experiences that are transformative and inspiring, based in a deep respect for our community and environment. We seek to provide a space for the fusion of aesthetics, sound, and natural living, in an atmosphere of interactive co-creation."

Who is planning to go?

Who are you hoping to see manifest out there?

i liked it better when Syd Gris wrote it..
It is our intention to create the space for peak experience, community development, and inspiration that serves as a road map for what's possible....Social change will not happen without the individual elevation of our collective spiritual center of gravity. Thus, it is our responsibility to nudge our own evolution to catch up with the outpaced growth of technology without the soul getting left behind. To create a space for Sacred Dance is to create a playground for connection with the Eternal..

I've been posting about this eclipse earlier. For those of you who haven't experience a solar eclipse which is most Americans there is nothing like it, Compared to watching a lunar eclipse it would be like watching a play from the back row vs. being on stage performing.
Lots of places to see this but this may be the best.

Beautiful, and it passes over Reno and Tahoe. :D

Seems if one cannot afford the time off / expenses for this gathering, a mountaintop in the path would be a good location to watch this on a sunny day.

actually no, there are very deep tunnels used by the navy during WWII for subs, and now they hold SCUBARAVES(tm) down there.

Last time I checked, we hippies still float. And why Bolinas?! Too mean!!

Google this: "Is Lake Tahoe connected to Pyramid Lake" and you will find the legend of truth, the water flows through deep underground natural tunnels away from Lake Tahoe to Pyramid Lake.

This must mean your Scubarave(tm) is responsible for the hippies turning up in Bolinas. Hah, you are an evil genius! (no one can smell them over the reeking horse manure fertilizer riddled farmlands, muhahahahaaaaaaa...)

In their defense, a few were fun looking, they can stay and play their vimeo video, haha. Only problem is, hippies don't work, so they'll never catch this burner friendly post, meh...if they're smart, they'll find their way home.

While I was waiting till BM ate my credit card to see if I could afford early tickets, the Super early tickets sold out. So maybe I will be missing both events this year. I guess I don't make enough to get into these elite venues anymore.

I wonder if ticket sales for Symbiosis will increase after the main ticket lottery for BM is over. It could be a fallback for those who don't get tickets.
