It would be cute except for the standard propensity for people to shorten names. "Pumper" ;)

TPBM is taking his/her SO to their first experience at a fine entertainment establishment where said entertainment revolves around poles, music, a stage and dollar bills.

No way! I've been daydreaming about ringing the bell and making a dust angel for the past 3-4 years. Why would I ever want to skip it?

I didn't have a skip-it, but I did have a hoppity-hop. I just loved it until I bgrew out of it.
TPBM remembers fondly childhood days of running around the neighborhood/woods all summer and not seeing grown-ups all damn day until dusk when you have to get back because the mosquitoes are coming out.

I grew up in central Az- no woods, just desert; no mosquitoes, just scorpions & snakes. The rest, however, is accurate.

I often get asked if I'm dressed as little bo peep. It's about utility and comfort. Clothing you can till a field in all day. I do like the dresses, they look hard-wearing and comfortable. I'm not a skirt person myself, but can appreciate it's benefits.

TPBM is a closet nudist.

I can neither confirm nor deny those allegations, as they pertain to an ongoing investigation ...into how you got that information in the first place.

TPBM thinks being "in the closet" is a funny place for a nudist to spend any lengthy amount of time.

Tom Crooz spends most of his time there. I just choose to go to bars and drop trou.
TPBM has been kicked out of bars for less.

As far as I can remember, I only ever got kicked out of one bar, and it was for celebrating the arrival of the new year with a combustible. Hey, everyone else was doing it much, much more discreetly than I!

TPBM thinks the bar is a terrible place to light fireworks. And no, it wasn't a firework in my story.

I've been thrown out of 4 bars in this county for dropping trou. One let me back in because of lost revenue.
I feel better now.
True story: in 1976 I learned not to use black powder for flash pots for my band. But found that out on-stage.

TPBM once woke up under a pool table and can't remember why.

I don't remember waking up under a pool table.
TPBM once woke up under a sink and has a very pertinent story to tell us about it.

Well actually it wasn't a sink at all but a television set. You see I was attempting to turn it off & due to the numerous shots & beers consumed that night I was unable to figure out the remote. Somehow I figured that crawling underneath to disconnect all the wires was a better plan. I quickly became overwhelmed by the task & passed out. How is this in any way pertinent you ask? Well it happened to be the only time in my life that I was cut off at a bar and later got lost in a closet. In retrospect a good call by the bartender.

TPBM thinks that people don't choose to be shirtcockers but are born that way.

EDIT: The flying monkey beat me to it. My sink story involved a full-to-the-seams hotel room. Under the sink was the only floor space not claimed. Unfortunately, I still got stepped on in the wee hours of the morning.

As for shirtcocking and other behavior, I'm firmly in the "Nature via nurture" camp.

TPBM gets irked by mis-portrayal of evolution and science in general in films.

Sadly not. I've been at the computer for another 4 hours after posting I'd been here too long, so it's a 13 hour day in front of it (and I still can't figure out how to code- or what to call- the damn little thumbnail-thingy I want)

tpbm thinks 3am is a reasonable bedtime.

yeah, that was my bedtime last night. not for any good reason, but just because i'm like a little kid who wants to stay up "just a bit longer," until i can't keep my eyes open.

what's not reasonable is getting up at 8am the next morning.

tpbm makes really excellent coffee.

Not so sure about that. I get complaints about my coffee being too strong. I like it real strong with lots of sugar. But I think that the real secret is starting with good coffee and having a clean coffee maker and a clean pot.

There is no such thing as strong coffee... just weak men!

TPBM likes to roast the coffee beans him/herself.

No. Polishing my parents' silverware when I was a kid taught me to only ever use stainless steel.
