The truth about why I have cowboy angel blocked, always, without question resides not in his constant grubbing in conspiracy theories, but rather in his absolute vicious treatment of my friend Eddie on tribe.net. They were having some sort of argument about something and ca went into some sort of rant on the idea that Eddie was espousing the opinions he was expressing as being due to Eddie's status as someone in a wheelchair who could no longer (at least in ca's sick, crippled mind) have direct genital sexual expression and therefor he was twisted and bitter. I do not wish to have to read that screed again. It was shocking to me in its cold dismissal of another's experience. It's a loathsome tactic to go ad hominum in the first place, but the way it was put together was so evil and cold and hate-filled that cannot bear not to have ca blocked. Always. I hope this truth catches up with him and makes all his internet stunts bitter little failures.

Having thought about this for a bit...

Eddie left burningman tribe over this and then--albeit months later--left tribe.net altogether. This was a particular blow to me because he was one of a group of people on tribe who were sort of my mentors into the ways of having a serious disability. It was nice to be connected to some people who understood some of what I was going through.
Also, I resent the inference that can so easily be drawn--if Eddie's disability left him sexless and incapable of having a reasoned discussion, than anyone else--self included--who's in a chair may have the same burdens.
So, I resent cowboyangel's continued presence in my life, even if it's just a name. I wish he weren't on this board. I reluctantly allow him to have his baseball thread and his gun thread and don't open either one. However, as far as I'm concerned, the man is incapable of knowing anything about truth or anything about sex, and I hope this thread withers quickly. To that end, I'm out. Sorry I made a scene. Giving ca the rent in my head is just a waste.

God, you are so sweet. Of course, you seem immune to the notion of "another side" That would require sending folks over to the empty can called 'tribe" but why bother. If you want to hold acid bitterness in yourself, so be it. It ain't good for you. People who know me, and you don't, know the other side of the story. You saw the better part when I met you at the playa after Scott died and gave you a very big hug. Oh and Eddie was an asshole who went into the bear pit with me, an equal match.
