Only when I think I might be wrong about something, and I'm not prepared to face it.

TPBM is always right. Once s/he thought s/he was wrong, but s/he was mistaken.

Not only am I always right, but I'm effing hilarious. And sexy.

TPBM must have eaten a sexy beast for breakfast this morning, since we are what we eat.

I think whatever I ate was extremely lazy. I guess that's why it ended up getting et.

TPBM thinks it's the sexy who end up getting et.

NO. I rescue lost snails from paved paths and put them on the verge. I'm weird that way.Maybe Cthulu is to blame. I also eat animals much more intelligent than snails (and have eaten snails, too), so I have no integrity at all.

TPBM believes you shouldn't eat any animal you didn't kill yourself.

Nothing at all, 'cept I think they're really big. I'm slightly better-acquainted with wild salmon.

TPBM has silverfish :(

I'm still wondering what a "paracite" is. Para cite? Is that Spanish?

Nope. I love pizza, but I've got cornbread muffins in the oven and tomato/rapini/bean soup on the stove, and I'm quite looking forward to eating them. I don't cook at home often enough.

TPBM wants to come over for dinner. If you'll excuse my frightfully messy apartment, you're welcome here! And don't worry; the dishes are clean.

I've been fed already. Maybe another night.
TPBM has an interesting story about a record or cd bought not on the basis of the music, but because something else, perhaps the name or album cover, tickled her/his fancy.

Um, yeah. I worked at an office where our annual Christmas party was like some kind of weird prom.... new dresses, professionally-styled hair, ridiculous shoes that nobody could walk in. A few years of that, and any nostalgia I might have had for my real prom was obliterated.

EDIT: Story time! I just realized one of those office parties was my debut as a wearer of funny hats! Annoyed at the prom-worthy preparations of my colleagues (seriously; we even had fundraisers for these stupid parties  ), but unwilling to boycott and thus lose a chance to get drunk on the company dime, I wore a thrift-store skirt and top with a fancy, veiled pillbox hat. Nobody knew what to make of me. I trolled the fuck out of them with that hat! Huzzah!

If you're writing about writing in fugue states while you're in a fugue state, is that like dreaming about dreaming?
I haven't yet found that thread, Fishy, but I'm sure I'll stumble upon it eventually.

I don't do baths any more. If you want to hear me rant about some stupid piece of popular culture, ask me about the bathtub scene in The Time Traveler's Wife.
TPBM went WTF when Eric said he was questionless, because there was a question that hadn't been answered.

Yeah, I couldn't figure out whether your reference to polymers and fugue states was somehow in answer to your own question, or what was going on, until you mentioned that it was meant to be posted elsewhere.

TPBM used to watch "St. Elsewhere" back in the day.

True. I watched House, MD for a season or two when it was new; I kind of enjoyed the mystery formula with the medical setting. But it got old for me fast, and the plot lines went from strange to bizarre to ridiculous fairly quickly. I've never really watched any others. I tried watching ER back in the day, but I hated it.

TPBM likes English murder mysteries (screen or print).

No, I prefer horror movies. The Shining's almost a murder mystery.

Why, I would care for a Jelly Baby, thank you very much. Also, when accepting candy from Jelly-Baby-bearing strange men, I expect at least one ride in the vehicle.

EDIT: Curses, I completely misread TPAM. Ah, well, Freudian slip, I suppose.

TPBM thinks the mistake was understandable.
When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.
