Figured I'd better register, Burner from Oz
...since I've been lurking on the boards for awhile and never got around to registering, figured I might aswell now.
this will be my partner and I's second burn after attending last year. We come from Newcastle, which is like 2 hours-ish north of Sydney...any newcastle burners out there? Im a wine-rep, and he runs a liqour store, so trying to figure out if bringing booze over with us on the plane is a viable idea.
We were lucky enough to score 4 tickets in the pre-christmas lottery. One other ticket will be going to our best friend who went to the 2010 burn, and the other to a friend from Reno we met last year.
Taking an RV this year, we did the tent thing last year, but with flying in it just seems more sensible then buying ANOTHER tent and gifting it to someone (our last one ended up at occupy miami)
So...thats about it I guess.

Check on the us custom department web page. I think liquor is restricted to a 750ml bottle. Wine maybe more. My suggestion is if you do take booze each of you carry a bottle of something really nice to share with select few, and if you want to pour for the masses buy in the states.

One of the benefits of my job is that I do get a lot of really nice wine for free, so I was thinking of holding off on a few REALLY nice bottles and sharing them / gifting them. There's three of us on the same flight, so thats at least 3 bottles, though I think we worked out the limit was like 2 each or something.
I actually need to ring the airline because I have UV sensitive glowey bubble mix I want to bring. It's sealed in little see through bottles, but I was a little hesitant.

It might be two bottles of wine, but I'm pretty sure it's one for the hard stuff. In fact, I think it was two bottles at one point, I don't know for sure.

I don't think booze is allowed at Burning Man. Consider pancakes and tacos as a viable replacement...

Consider pancakes as a replacement for fry bread in NDN tacos, too.
