We had something I called Bunny Slaw... living in a place where no lettuce was available at the market. Fresh vegetables we could always get were cabbage, and carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers. So is grated carrot salad a match for yes? The strict family version come down from grandma Schoonover was with raisins and mayonaise.

tpbm remembers fresh vegetables being derisively called "rabbit food" by those who maybe had heart attacks by 50.

That would be my Uncle who would only eat ham if it was carbonized on the grill & only eat steak if it was dripping blood (he is was on the non-Jew side). Of course this is the same man who thought my being gay explained why I was a punk in the early 80's, and thought the only good thing about that was that at least I wouldn't date any more girls with, as he stated, "permanent tans"... Real charmer.

tpbm also had an Uncle who's birth name was really Texas.

No. I'm the one who was birthed in Texas.

No, I wonder why this: "Whenever one young male member of the family, Taso Sithole (16) entered each of the huts and as soon as he came out, that hut would unexpectedly go up in smoke" isn't a bit obvious...

I wasn't, until you brought it up.

TPBM recently woke up disoriented and took a moment to realize that s/he was in her/his own bed. How peculiar.

ah the racer's edge. I remember Andy Granatelli, for no good reason attired in a trench coat in stp commercials.

tpbm used to play at the commercial activity, trying to hold onto a screwdriver dipped in oil.

Technically not any more now that I'm home, but it was 9 hours of hell while I was there. My service adviser and teammate have some personality conflicts, so they got into it again today. We were slammed and my adviser was upset that our customers weren't getting out on time and my teammate didn't really give a shit. I think we did around 29 oil changes and 3 or four tire rotations total today. Not fun.

TPBM had/will have fun today/night.

OK. I give up. What the hell is an action packer? The first thought that came to me when I saw this was kind of gross. (at least to me it was)

TPBM bought a "gourmet" frozen pizza for dinner last night and thinks the only thing gourmet about it was the price.

IDK if I'd call Digiorno's gourmet pizza, and I did get it on sale, and with a coupon.

tpdm has also been to Old Chicago's in Boulder, and, as an added bonus, has their name on the hall of foam!

No... but a hall of foam sounds kinda cool.
