The Pictures in some of my posts are not displayed when i browse the electronic playa and i am not logged in. The pictures in my older postings are all displayed, but some (not all) in newer postings are not. As most of the users of this forum are not registerd and do not log in, this bothers me. I allways used the "upload attachment" function in this forum - always in the same way.
Trilobyte gave me the advice to upload the pictures elsewhere and link to them, but as the pictures in the older posts are all visible - has anybody an idea what i am doing wrong / how i can avoid this:
Instead of the picture there is a text saying: "You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post"

Those images that are linked to are shown. The others--those that are uploaded--aren't. It could be a privacy feature of the software used. It should save the llc bandwidth...

I'm betting it's just the way the permissions are set on the board. Trillo should be able to fix this.

Trilo may not regard this as a "fix". He quite possibly chose that setting.

Nothing to fix, images posted as a file attachment are intentionally only visible to those who are logged into the site. If you want an image in a post to be visible to guests, host it elsewhere and embed the image using the [IMG] tag.
