Hello fellow Burners.
My lady and I are from South Africa and now live in New Zealand.
We have been to Burning Man in 2008 and 2010 and consider Black Rock City home.
We were lucky enough to have have secured tickets for 2012 through our amazing friends at Pink Mammoth and are looking forward to giving something back to the camp where we have spent a lot of our time on the Playa.
We have three of our best friends traveling from NZ with us after hearing some many amazing stories form the Playa.
They don't have tickets yet but we are trusting that things will fall into place so have booked RV, accommodation etc...
Looking forward to seeing you all in August.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Welcome to eplaya! I like your user icon.
Biltong would be fantastic on the playa! But I suppose you're closer to the land of vegemite now...

When he lights his streetlamp, it is as if he brought one more star to life, or one flower.
When he puts out his lamp, he sends the flower, or the star, to sleep.
That is a beautiful occupation.

The STEP program IS working. It's just a slow, patient process. Once tickets are in hand we will probably see many more tickets being offered for resale. Say NO! to scalpers.
