I wish that everyone with a huge proclaimation with absolutely no details, back-up, or even a nice reach around had more than 10 posts to their name.

I'm starting to wonder how many people it takes to make 20-30 negative trolly, half-assed, profiles & wild accusations - maybe just one?

Other people with negative feedback are able to stick around & actually talk about their ideas - come on in and try it. Or is it time to start another thread yet?

Don't apologize. It's good you brought it up. We need the occasional reminder that anyone who dares to criticize BMORG--or, for that matter, who dares to say they didn't have a good time at Burning Man this year, or who whines about having been raped there--is nothing but a "troll." We all need to think more alike and to have more respect for authority. Isn't that what Burning Man is all about?

I mean really - I tackled several of my friends in the streets this year at burningman - hit the ground with everyone laughing.

Okay, I'm not completely up on the law here, but since it's a corporation and not a non-profit is it under their perview? And if it is, can I ask that they go after PG&E instead. They've taken away lots more of my money and did much worse things with it.

This year was a relatively lazy year for me. I spent much much time hanging with my camp. No worries - there's always the future.

(BTW & totally off-subject:) Speaking of lazy - I took the year off Burning man projects & did mail art instead - but I'm back on the project trail.
We are building Greater & lesser men to burn on burn night. Meaning a 50ft man & encouraging others to make smaller men of their own to burn in the burn platforms. Burning Populous.

Ya know, I didn't really want to say anything because I have yet to actually go to Burning Man, I'm a newbie here and I've been nursing a few gin and tonics for most of the evening, but this nignog fucker is really making me angry and I'm going to get it out of my system really quick.

I wonder why it would matter one bit if this person were a man or a woman? Regardless, it's someone with an axe to grind who lacks the honesty to clearly state what that axe is and lacks the decency to restrict it to one freakin thread.

Anything worth doing should be able to cope with criticism. Criticism is necessary and could help the event stay honest - if it's made in a constructive manner.

Missed the boat on that one. Anyone who criticizes BMORG with a legitimate gripe has ample opportunity, as witness by the "not enough art" "ticket prices too high" and "where did all these fucking Yahoo's come from?" postings... Maybe this individual needs to go to Disneyland instead of Burning Man. Obviously someone hasn't read up on the origins of the event or they would NOT have made a statement like that.
