My mom has three pre-sale tickets coming (one of them is mine) and she will be away from home for the entire month of June.
I know you have to sign for tickets, and if no one's around to sign USPS will send the package back to the Sender.
I'm worried that they will end up at Will Call.
I will not be arriving at the gate with her and her boyfriend, so I can't get to Will Call with them.
It will be her first burn, in celebration of her 80th birthday, and I want her to have the joy of holding that ticket in her hot little hand, and the happy anticipation that comes with it. She's pretty stoked.
Can she contact BMORG and ask that they change the delivery address from hers to mine? I will be around all month to sign for them and I can send hers along to her.
Sorry if this is covered somewhere in the FAQ. I looked everywhere.
What if you're out of town when your tickets arrive?

USPS INFO ABOUT ACCOUNTABLE MAIL:
Accountable Mail (item requiring a signature):
If no one is available when the delivery is attempted the first time, the letter-carrier will leave a PS Form 3849, Delivery Attempt Notice.
This form notifies the addressee that an article is being held for them at the Post Office and will be available for pick-up the following business day.
The addressee also has the option to have the item redelivered; it will not be done automatically.
Five days after the first notice is left, a second delivery notice will be left.
This item will be held for a number of days based on the specific service (usually 15 days).
If it is not claimed, the item will be returned to the sender.

Just curious, Janet...what planet have you been living on?

We better let Knowmad know, too. He'll be glad to see more bunnies.

Re: What if you're out of town when your tickets arrive?
I'm out of the country for the month of June also but my mail is on hold...so in theory my tickets should arrive the day after I return - I hope.

You know it's going to be a bad day when you jump out of bed and miss the floor.
