Fuck, back to fucking square one with the seroma. Don't be alarmed by low grade fevers. Take OTC for the pinchy feelings. Have awkward sex. Wait until it fills back up and aspirate it. Wait and it will resolve itself. Wait wait wait. Fucking take out the mesh, but that's another entire universe of risk, trouble, and complications. Fuckety fuck fuck fuck.

FUCK!

I was a button push away from deleting a phone message....when I heard the name Biagi Bros., my last employer... Apparently, I will receive part of a settlement from a lawsuit against them. If this is all true, BloodBath&Beyond may make it to the playa this year. Don't care if its $2 or $2000...giving one last middle finger, to those assholes, is satisfaction enough!

got a fucking message on my phone while was gone:

a friend, who I've made tombstones for several of her family and friends, called.
She's decided to stop her cancer treatments.
and, she says she'll only last a month or so, so, wants to talk to me about her stone.
FUCK! I hate those conversations, and especially with someone I know.
Looking her in the eyes.....knowing soon, so soon, they will be dark.........hearing her laugh and talk, and knowing in a month or so, it'll be done. and gone, forever.....
FUCK ME, FUCKING this position I'm in.
I feel honored, she'd want me to do this for her, but fuck.........to look at that face, and know it'll soon be gone.......
DAWG FUCING DAMN CANCER!!!!

Hope you feel better soon.

Yeah, I never heard of it myself. Fucking BIL, scaring me like that. But I'm open to mesh replacement if the surgeon thinks it will work. I'm going to insist on a damn drain right away though.

How's your fucking thing healing up? Good?

Yes, healing is/was good.
The only complaint I had was that the reality of the healing process was nowhere close to what I had expected into be. I opted for arthroscopic surgery primarily because the healing time was, according to all I read, much shorter than the open method. You can find a lot of videos with guys a lot older than me out playing tennis in a week. Let me tell you, that's BULL CRAP.

At first I wondered why they gave me so many pain pills, as there wasn't really that much pain the first couple of days. Then on like day four, the pain was pretty severe, which worried me a bit because it didn't make sense to me that there would be so much more pain after days of relatively no pain.

Then about a week after, I had my post op appointment and I was totally pain free. I mean totally. It was like I hadn't even had surgery. The doc said that might ot last, and unfortunately, he wasn't kidding.

The next day I awoke to find out I was now only pain free as long as I didn't move, and trying to move was like I would imagine it to feel by getting shocked by a cattle prod. That lasted about two more days.

Then two or so more pain free days and then another day of pain.

It was really weird, or actually more scary, thinking that maybe the doctor hit a nerve or something.

Anyway, it's now been almost two months and there is no pain except the the area directly over where the hernia was is still a bit numb, but less and less each day.

The two other "surprises" were that they catheterize you and stick a breathing tube down your throat when you have general anesthesia. Though the tubes were both inserted and removed while I was unconscious, the effects were painful and bruising for almost a week after.

I know this all might be TMI, but I would have worried a lot less had I actually known what to expect and maybe someone else will benefit from hearing about my experience.

They do the breathing tube (intubation, for those of you who have an interest in arcane eplaya lore) when you're in a medical coma, too. With both Scott and I, a day or two before we woke up, pulled out our own tubes. I don't know how common that is.

The anesthesiologist did actually tell me, as they were wheeling me in, that they would be putting in the breathing tube. She said she wanted me to be aware of that just in case something went wrong and I woke up with it still inserted.

Did they tell you that's what you did? Or do you just have the recollection of doing it?

I know about the breathing tube... I woke up after emergency surgery as it was being removed. However, I couldn't move or make noise, so they didn't know I was awake. Weird, but not painful.

This time I didn't take my pain pills. More pinchy and pokey than painful. Big ass numb strip, but this isn't my first surgery cut along that line. Been cut four times now, I have a dotted line. Yeah, the whole pain thing is variable. My first mesh went in in 2004 and I still get weird electric shock pains at random. You may or may not get that. I'd think not, it isn't usual.

Oh, and fuck.

Fuuuuuuuuuuck, (((AntiM))), that really sucks, abdominal wall reconstructions are really a bitch.

(((Yggy))), so sad about your friend, but what a privilege for you, eh? Helping her on her last journey.

Gosh (((Fishy))) self-extubation is more common than it should be. But managing the sedation can be tricky, everybody's different and we don't always get it right. :(

JK please don't give everybody google-itis  it's very difficult to treat. :?

They told me or they told my mother and sister. I didn't wake up right then. It was the next door or so. My mother and sister were chatting about knitting patterns and I was burning up (the fever would spike every time they operated. They must have done a lot of operations....) I was frantically trying to tell them to cool me off, and they didn't understand.

Fuck, there a time when hearing "I love you, too" isn't what you want...

FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK

I feel for all the sad, bad, trials and tribulation fucks in here, really. And looking at the beginning of this thread, it's more than that. And I'm not discounting anyones feelings here. People who know me, who really took the time to get to know me, know I'm not that way.

I'm so FUCKING pissed off right now. I'm so sick of people FUCKING with me! it appears I'm a sucker for falling into people's bullshit, then treated like yesterdays garbage! Does that make me not good enough for you?? No fucktards, you're not good enough for me. I don't need you fucking with me.

You want to know something about me? It really does take a whole fucking lot to piss me off this way! But I guess it's my fault to for letting assholes into my life. I won't apologize for the way I feel, but I do apologize for having you kind folks having to read this, but I had to get it off my chest. I guess I just reached my fucking limit of shit.

move along, there's nothing here to see...

Fuck, ((MA)). It wasn't your fucking fault. It was not wrong to trust people and let them into your life. It was fucking wrong for them to betray that trust and take advantage of you. You've been through a lot, and you've put up with a lot, and you deserve better. I hope it comes to you soon.

And don't fucking apologize for venting here, too. That's what this fucking "fuck" thread is for.

Thank you cat...I have been through a lot as of late, but I try to rise above things, but sometimes when you think someone is a friend, then they just ignore you or think that the things they fucking do, is ok, damned the feelings of others. So don't say I'm your friend when you don't mean it. fuck...

But I will let this pass, and I hope I never have to deal with "people" like this anymore. ...fuck...just fuck...
