A Literal Gift...

Greetings and much Love Burning Brothers and Sisters,

In Honor and Remembrance of my Brother, on his Birthday June 12, I decided to honor his memory by releasing my first two books as Free PDF downloads, starting with my first book of Poetry, "The Stupendous Technicolor Transparent See-Through Art and Convenience Store Book..." my poetic discovery of the Burningman experience, and followed soon by my second tome, "In My Solitude".

Note: For some reason the PDF omits the background image, (a beautiful beige linen) throughout, which is in the E-Book version, and gives the overall book a nice feel to it, but even without it, I think the reverent tone I was going for, is there.

It's just hilarious how much I've seemingly offended people with that. I'm perfectly aware of what "namaste" means. The statement was literally a jab at all the "namaste"s that get tossed around by hippies. Don't take yourselves too seriously guys.

I'll just say that many of the hippies who say "namaste" are taking it out of its contexts in history and culture and repurposing it as some sort of pious add-on that will lend them credibility as a lover of mankind or the universe or--in all too many cases--actually someone who's not a parasite.

I can handle it in yoga classes. I do know hippies who I respect. But not all by a long shot. But the Rebbi's okay...

I've run the PDF through an optimizer. The original is 85MB because of only three images in that PDF: the title, the about the author photo, and the last photo. I was able to cut the file size to 1.3MB with Acrobat's File Size Reducer; it reduces the DPI of the images, but it really shouldn't matter because the other content-images are not print-DPI anyway.
