Hello from NY!
Hi all! I'm FlyGuy. Sadly, I did NOT "win" a spot in the ticket lottery. I did sign up for the STEP program and, was happy to see today that about 1000 tickets have been transferred so far. I attended the 2010 & 2011 burns camping and volunteering at the airport both years. Here's hoping that the ticket gods will smile upon me and I'll be able to attend, volunteer and party in 2112. I'm off to the "Tickets Offered" section. Hope to see you all on the playa this August!

Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

The STEP program IS working. It's just a slow, patient process. Once tickets are in hand we will probably see many more tickets being offered for resale. Say NO! to scalpers.
