Hi all,
First time here and a Burgin for 2012. Headed up from San Jose, Ca and wanted to say hi. Im coming up alone so I will have room in my car but will post those details on the ride share board.

Personally, I believe 25 gallons for a single person is more than necessary. In our camp we loosing follow the equation 1 gallon/person/day + 1 gallon/day for cooking and cleaning + (1)7gallon water jug spare.CrispyDave wrote:I may be a Burgin but I will be a well read Burgin....

So basically its one of these 7 gallon deals per person, plus 1 for cleaning, and 1 for spare. Though, we also keep some of those 3 liter Arrow head jugs in each tent for those sleepy time "I'm thirsty but I don't wanna get out of bed" drinks.
For one person, I bet you would be OK with just 2 of the 7 gallon aquatainers. Plus the valve flips around and they stack very nicely and are sturdy.
