Quick, before the tickets are sent out, tell ebay that he doesn't have those tickets in hand. Their rules don't permit you to sell them without actually having the item.
Next month, this will no longer be an option.

Will the 86 the auctions? Most sellers on Ebay basically state "I'll ship them out when I get them" and some have the option of flipping the item over to Will Call. Wouldn't the latter be legal in Ebays eyes?

I am absolutely sure someone will buy one of those ticket auctions and spend the next 60 days packing their truck and spending their hard earned money to head out to BRC and then find that their ticket never existed.

Those tickets need to be removed from eBay.

After many dodgy deals on Ebay (not ticket related, but generally falling under "goods not as described"), I'm still an innocent until proven guilty guy. If I was buying off Ebay I'd just have them shipped registered/express. First signs of trouble I'd bail, starting w/ a charge back.

I too believe innocent until proven guilty, But 12 tickets is a lot for one person. If the tickets are real then it is a scam of the BM ticketing process, if they are not real then it is a scam of eBay, if the tickets are real and he got 12 tickets from the regular ticketing process then it is scam on humanity.....
